Big Data News Monday 20th January
At RDF we keep a Kanban board to track new IT technologies and decide when to start to investigate and adopt interesting new ones. Big Data recently moved from the Investigating to the Trialling column, so we set off a project to develop and demonstrate capabilities in this technology space, using Network Rail data feeds as the data source.
Four of our developers spent some time using this technology and are now describing their efforts in a series of technical papers, four to be precise. We will publish these papers at regular intervals on our website, so watch this space.
