Model Driven Development Event - 22nd September 2009

This June saw the second of RDF’s successful Model Driven Development (MDD) events in London with nearly 50 Senior Business Leaders and Heads of IT from leading Financial Services companies and some of London’s premier Insurance companies. Model Driven Development is an approach that gives organisations the power to get more from less, enjoy closer alignment between IT and the Business – driving up quality, and to significantly reduce IT development spend through rapid delivery. The Mendix platform used for MDD allows custom development of applications up to 75% quicker compared with traditional software development methods giving an alternative to off shoring, purchasing expensive packaged software and high risk, high cost, in house bespoke development.
