Support for Rockinghorse
For the second year running, Brighton based I.T Company RDF Group and Sussex Cricketers were delighted to support local children’s charity, Rockinghorse. As part of Sussex cricketer Richard Montgomerie’s Benefit Year, RDF organised a golf day at the East Brighton Golf Club, and raised over £1,000 for Rockinghorse.
Dave Wood, Chief Executive of RDF, said, “Many of us are incredibly lucky to be able to attend days such as Richard’s Benefit throughout the year. As long standing supporters of community events, it is important that we all recognise the work that organisations like the Rockinghorse deliver. To make a contribution to those less fortunate than ourselves is a privilege. We’re a local company, very much part of the local community and the Rockinghorse Appeal is a great cause to show a commitment to”.
Richard said, “I’ve had a fantastic year and the support I have received from so many people has been really touching. We just wanted to do something for others as part of the year. Our supporters took to the idea really well and I am grateful to RDF for all their organisation and support.”
Rockinghorse is delighted to be associated with RDF and very grateful for the generous donation. The funds raised will be used to enable Rockinghorse to continue to supporting children’s medical facilities throughout Sussex including the new Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital.
