Infrastructure

Services

The scope of services to be used are, of course, tailored to each client’s needs.

The typical start point, however, is for RDF to provide:

  • systems administration services, including providing a IT Helpdesk for reporting of problems (including agreed escalation routes)
  • server and desktop maintenance on reported problems
  • proactive recommendations on network security, resilience, efficiency and effectiveness.
RDF can remotely and proactively monitor all network devices, including desktop computers and servers, carrying out preventative maintenance where possible. RDF will recommend appropriate measures for improving resilience and redundancy in the network, covering hardware, software and connectivity.

RDF’s Infrastructure Support Team is a dedicated, permanently employed team, although we flex the group with consultants as specific projects demand. The team has implemented and now maintains a secure Wide Area Network (WAN) linking RDF and a growing number of client sites, a user base of 300+ staff, secure LANs in each office with servers, desktops, file storage and printers in each location.

Many of our clients ask us to either lead or assist them in developing an IT strategy appropriate to the needs of their business. Where approved, RDF can implement the agreed strategy and be true partners with the client organisation.

Can we help you?

RDF have worked with Hewitt on several recruitment campaigns and I am extremely happy with the timely and professional service that they provided. They submitted a good selection of CVs which matched well with our role profiles, and as a result, we have been successful in filling our Test Management and Test Team vacancies.
