RDF is aware that business can have a significant impact on the community and, being a company built on our staff, we feel that it important to support local and national organisations as part of our corporate social responsibility.

Since 2007, RDF has been the major sponsor of Sussex County Cricket Club and this has proved to be a great success for both the Club and RDF. In 2007 the team won the County Championship for the second successive year and for the third time in five years. In 2008, the Club won the NatWest Pro40 Division One title and in 2009 the prestigious Twenty20 Cup was added (qualifying Sussex for the Champions League to be held in India in October 2009) as well as the Pro40 title being retained. This success on the field meant that RDF had extensive coverage in many local, regional and national newspapers, as well as on television and web sites. The association has continued to build awareness of the Group’s brand and services and has been pivotal to our marketing programme.

In 2008, RDF was invited to become major sponsor of Livingston Football Club. Livingston are currently in Division One of the Scottish League and are hopeful of promotion to the Scottish Premier League next season. As a community based company, we were delighted to support the community football club at such an exciting time.

In addition to these sports sponsorships, each branch is able to sponsor local charities and employees are encouraged to match the contributions with personal donations.
